Construction Associaton of Michigan
Previously known as the Builders Exchange of Detroit and Michigan, the Construction Association of Michigan (CAM) was founded in 1885 and is the oldest and largest regional construction association in North America.
CAM is a not-for-profit organization supported by annual dues and service fees. CAM's 12-member board of directors is elected annually by over 4,000 member companies. The membership is comprised of 42% specialty/subcontractors, 32% equipment and material suppliers, 21% general contractors, and 5% service firms (design, law, financial management, etc.)
The mission of CAM is to provide service, information and assistance to the construction industry. The Association exists to foster growth in the construction industry and encourage networking between members and their publics. CAM will act as a catalyst to promote and enhance profitability, efficiency and integrity within the industry for the benefit of Association members.
